My name is Ashley Gast. Growing up, I was never good at sports and exercise “just wasn’t my thing”. I spent most of my adolescence and early 20’s being overweight, with a sedentary lifestyle and addiction to junk food. I saw my weight the highest it had ever been in January of 2009, and I was just about to buy pants yet another size larger – when the lightbulb went off. I knew that there was a better way and I was determined to lose the weight and lead a healthier lifestyle.
At the end of 2009, after the weight had been lost, I was challenged to run a 15K – I had never even ran a 5K at this point….. shoot, I can honestly say I didn’t even like running. I took my friends challenge and ran my first 15K in February of 2010. The feeling of accomplishment I felt crossing that finish-line can’t be described in words. This led to my first Half Marathon in 2010, my first Triathlon, and first full Marathon. Since then, I have immersed myself in the endurance sport arena, completing multiple marathons, century bike rides, double century bike rides, 70.3 Ironman races, and racing in competitive cycling. This passion naturally led to me wanting to help others reach the “unreachable”.
Finding CF3P was the missing piece to my performance and training routine. I am passionate about helping our members reach what they think is unattainable, and becoming the best versions of themselves.
